Awesome Cover Art: The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976)

While I haven't seen the Original yet, I can't deny its Cult Appeal.

Does it have anything to do with neat Posters like this one?

That certainly helps.

To be fair, this image is a bit of a transposition.  You have the masked Zodiac Killer (a recent event) combined with the Zodiac Killer attacking people in parked Cars.  There's also a little Son of Sam in there too, I think.

Regardless, it does set a good mood for the Film.  It is ominous.  It is bleak.  It appears to match the Time Period.

All in all, a solid Poster.  Nothing against the more iconic Poster, but I'd like to see this one more often!
